Dr. Janet P. Littlejohn
Dr. Janet P. Littlejohn, author of Goat Trees: Dauphin Island’s Own Three Billy Goats Gruff and A Mix-up in Mother Goose Land, is a retired, national board-certified teacher who loves books, children, and beaches. She taught twenty-eight years in elementary classrooms in the state of Mississippi. She received her master’s and undergraduate degrees from Mississippi University for Women and her doctorate from Mississippi State University.
Vicki Murtha
Vicki Murtha, illustrator, is a retired teacher and curriculum technology specialist. She taught special education for nineteen years, and trained teachers on using technology in the classroom for thirteen years. She loves to travel, knit, play the piano, and draw.
Beth Beene
Beth Beene, cookie artist, over 50 years ago took over her grandmother’s family tradition of designing and baking cookies for various holidays for friends and family. She used her special skills to design the cookie characters in Dr. Janet P. Littlejohn’s Goat Trees: Dauphin Island’s Own Three Billy Goats Gruff, and the cardinals in the second edition of A Mix-up in Mother Goose Land.
